About the event
MEMORY is one of the most emblematic lighting collections designed by Jader Almeida. Launched in 2016, it has become a benchmark over the last decade due to its immediate public acceptance and critical acclaim, establishing itself as an icon of contemporary Brazilian design. In 2026, the year it celebrates its 10th anniversary, the collection is presented renewed. The MEMORY collection is expanded with the introduction of a commemorative medal, broadening its compositional possibilities and enriching the material vocabulary of the JADERALMEIDA brand. This evolution reaffirms the timeless character of the collection and its continuous capacity for dialogue with different spaces, uses, and narratives. As part of the SP-Arte program, JADERALMEIDA presents, from April 8th to 12th, at the Bienal do Ibirapuera, a new exhibition dedicated to the MEMORY collection. Conceived as a sensory and contemplative experience, the exhibition highlights the elegance, formal precision, and expressive power of the product, revealing light as a constructive and poetic element.
