The Ion Candlestick stems from the idea of balance as a design principle. On one side, the candle rests on an inverted cone; on the other, a longer rod extends to meet a wooden sphere, establishing a play of weights and counterpoints. A subtly off-center "U"-shaped element organizes and stabilizes the composition, allowing the piece to find its balance naturally. Between tension and lightness, Ion transforms the structural gesture into a sculptural presence, where each element participates in a precise and silent composition.
